Half Price cocktails for all!

Evening lads and lasses, sorry about the late update but as some of you may know it was my birthday yesterday. Thanks to everyone who came out and made it awesome, you guys rock :D Here's today's Elf Blood, it took longer to complete than I thought because I had to tweak a few bits here and there that I wasn't too pleased with. I quite like this page now, though :D

So, last night we went to The Local up on Sauchiehall street, and fortunately for all concerned it was half-price cocktail night on selected cocktails! So I decided to sample a few (thanks mostly to my generous friends. I love you guys :D):

White Russian: Less nausea-inducing than I thought it might be. Reasonably tasty, but nothing I would go out my way for.

Mint Russian: Holy cow, this one was good. Like drinking an alcoholic milkshake and actually genuinely refreshing!

French Martini: Tangy and frothy, purchased mostly for the thrill of drinking something from a martini glass. It was alright, not something I would get again though.

Godfather: Looks somewhat like apple juice. The main alcoholic taste was mostly whisky, but it's definitely the kind of drink you'd have to make you feel refined. I'd have it again.

Fireball: Very spicy indeed. Good fun, but as with all shots, all over too soon.

Cuba Libre: What the hell? This isn't a cocktail, it's a freakin' rum and coke!

Anyways, thanks again to all those who came out for the night, it was great fun with great company and good banter! I even managed to have five consecutive minutes of conversation with Cam that wasn't about comics :P Much love y'all! Hopefully Saturday's viewing of the A-Team will be as much fun :D
